I am raising funds for Juno this winter to support people experiencing family violence and homelessness.

Every day, Juno supports women, trans and gender diverse people, and children to find safety and move towards long-term stability after violence and homelessness. But rising costs are making it even harder for the people they support to afford basic essentials while trying to rebuild a safe and stable life.

Many are going without heating, struggling to put food on the table, or delaying essential appointments because the cost of petrol and everyday expenses has become too much. As more people turn to Juno for support, demand is putting increasing pressure on their services.

Donations to my fundraiser will help Juno provide reliable practical support when the people they support need it most. Your tax-deductible donation will help to:

• Cover the cost of fuel so someone can get to appointments, keep their children in school, and stay connected to support
• Put food on the table and cover essentials like hygiene products for a family starting again
• Set up a comfortable, warm home with bedding, heating and basic household items  
• Provide flexible support such as a week of safety for a family in emergency accommodation
