Creating Chances

Creating Chances

Creating Chances is a joint initiative of Rugby Youth Foundation and Football United that uses the magic of sport to develop and empower youth to become young leaders in their community. Through the provision of educational programs and inspiring experiences some of Australia's most vulnerable youth are given the opportunity to reach for their goals. Creating Chances is the first program of its kind in Australia that engages young people through their common passion for sport then provides an internationally recognised best practise blend of personal development and educational programs.

Creating Chances relies on donations to maintain it's current and future programs. The program builds on the success and extensive experience of Rugby Youth Foundation and Football United since 2004. The Creating Chances program is currently being delivered in 17 separate High Schools and communities across Western Sydney with particular focus on the most diverse and disadvantaged communities of Campbelltown, Mt Druitt, Blacktown, Liverpool, Fairfield and Granville. By offering Creating Chances to youth who may be disengaged, at-risk, leaders or simply lacking access to opportunities we aim to help them reach their potential.
