Cambodia Rural Students Foundation

The Cambodia Rural Students Trust is non-government organisation which the Palti family from Melbourne founded in 2011. The mission of CRST is to help break the poverty cycle through education. By providing high school, university, life-skills and business education to bright students from poor rural families in Cambodia, the NGO is educating future leaders.

The NGO is unique because in addition to providing students with the best education possible, the organisation’s senior students are mentored to manage the NGO and all students volunteer in the community to inspire others. The NGO has no overheads and 100% of funds are used for education and community projects.

CRST is a registered NGO with the Cambodian Interior Ministry and is funded by the Cambodia Rural Students Foundation, an Australian government-registered DGR and Public Benevolent Institution (ABN 71 613 161 158)
