The Cubbies Adventure Playground began in 1974 and remains a gathering space for children and families of the Atherton Gardens Estate in Fitzroy.
Joan Healey, founder of the Cubbies Adventure Playground, has written a wonderfully engaging account of its establishment 50 years ago. We want to share this story with all who are passionate about children’s development and local history.
