CULTURE AT WORK® is an artist-led Australian Research Institute that creates opportunities for artists to engage with science to stimulate creativity, innovation and learning. It is a not-for-profit organisation that develops local and national projects that advance art and science collaboration.
CULTURE AT WORK® supports artists and researchers to experiment and innovate across disciplines through studio residency programs. Located in Sydney, it also presents exhibitions and public talks by artists and scientists and provides creative workshop programs for parents and children to work together linking art and science.
Our CREATIVE SPARKS program offers inspired educational projects linking science and art to spark creative thinking in primary school students. Teams of educators, artists and scientists visit schools and deliver field trips, talks and practical workshops based on art and science, and linked to the NSW curriculum.
CULTURE AT WORK® also engages and collaborates with universities, local councils, art festivals, schools, health science institutes, national and regional universities and regional galleries.
