Join us in making a difference! JUTE Theatre Company is launching an annual Dare to Dream Theatre Camp for First Nations youth from regional and remote Queensland.
During our Dare to Dream residency program in 2023, our First Nations facilitators identified talented young people with a passion for theatre. Our brand new Theatre Camp program aims to nurture their talents, support personal growth, and open pathways to future employment in the arts and other industries.
Why Your Support Matters
Skill Development: Enhance performance skills towards a career in the arts.
Employment Pathways: Create opportunities for future employment by building transferrable skills.
Personal Growth: Foster self-confidence, resilience, and the ability to work in a team.
Positive Futures: Promote positive futures and strong, supportive communities.
How You Can Help
We need to raise $35,000 before August 1st this year to bring this transformative program to life in the October School Holidays. Your donation will directly support:
$4000: Sponsor a week of residency for one young person (including an accompanying parent, carer, or support person).
$1200: Contribute towards meals and accommodation for our out-of-town youth and their support person.
$500: Help us cover ground transport for the week.
$100: Provide essential materials for the workshop sessions.
Other Amount: Every donation brings us closer to our goal and is gratefully received.
