Defence Bank Foundation

Defence Community Dogs

The Defence Bank Foundation is an independent charity established specifically to raise funds to help injured, wounded and disadvantaged current and ex-serving Army, Navy and Air Force members and their families.

The Foundation's aim is to complement and enhance the support already provided to current and ex-serving personnel and their families by the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and other Defence Charities.

Our major beneficiary is the Defence Community Dogs program which rescues abandoned dogs and trains them specifically to support serving and ex-serving Australian Defence Force personnel suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD).  It takes at least 6 months and thousands of dollars to train a dog to become a Companion Therapy Dog and unfortunately many more are needed.  Your donation will help us to rescue and train more Therapy Dogs. Thank you.
