Since opening our doors in June 2024, Deserving Better WA has rapidly become a lifeline for marginalised West Australians, particularly women and families impacted by Coercive Control. We offer free and low-cost services including education, peer support, guided referrals, and advocacy for those impacted by coercive control and other forms of abuse.

Thanks to growing community awareness, demand for our services has significantly increased. We are now conducting a sponsorship drive to secure ongoing donations and brand partners, to enable us to continue meeting this need and expand our reach.

We believe everyone deserves access to support —without fear, judgment, or financial strain.

That’s why all of our group services, including weekly support circles, community education seminars, and creative healing mornings (crafts, cooking, conversation), are completely free.

For one-on-one support, we ask for a small $25 booking fee. This helps keep our system fairand accessible while preventing misuse by those who may attempt to block others from getting help.

We recognise that healing and the pathway to freedom is not a straight line, so there is no limit to how often someone can reach out to us.

As a 100% volunteer-run organisation with minimal overheads, every dollar makes a meaningful difference.
