Diversitat commenced operation in Geelong in 1976 as the Geelong Ethnic Communities Council Inc.

Today Diversitat is a not-for-profit community organisation that supports multicultural communities and disadvantaged people in the Barwon region.

Our core mission is to ensure that ethnic groups, organisations and individuals are given the opportunity to develop their potential and fulfil their aspirations as equal members of the community.

Diversitat is committed to developing spaces for people from CALD communities to achieve their full potential.

We are guided by a council of fifty one community groups and we represent and support over 70,000 people in the region.
