All week we’re raising money to keep Edge Radio on air. If you value independent media, diversity, training opportunities for young people, and providing a platform for underrepresented voices in Tassie, donate now  (and you might even win a prize!)

If you become a donor to Edge Radio, you will be assisting with the long term survival of a vital cultural link for the youth of Hobart. As a not-for-profit community broadcaster, we are often the first opportunity for exposure and connection to the media in something more than a passive way. We encourage young people to get involved. Edge Radio provides training and experience, while also giving youth the chance to join an organization and stay connected to their community. 

Your donation will go towards our 2022 mission to: 

1) Have a training revamp! Engage Tassie Youth through new training options.

2) Engage more musicians in 2022 through concerts and arts events.

3) Market ourselves and get the good word of Edge out there to more Tasmanians. 

Supporting our fundraiser supports stories you don’t normally hear in mainstream broadcast medias, including: community news, migrant/refugee issues, mental health, disability, super niche music knowledge and Real Tasmanian voices!
