Empower Young Women Through Flamenco on AUS ART DAY — 23 October 2025
On AUS ART DAY, 23 October 2025, you have the chance to break down those barriers. In just 12 hours of giving, your support will empower girls and young women to access world-class Flamenco training, mentorship, and professional stage opportunities that transform lives.
Our Youth Ensemble Las Flamenkas is more than a dance company—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of multicultural female artists. In Western Sydney, many young women face barriers to entering the arts: affordability, lack of representation, and limited career pathways. At Compañía Pepa Molina, we open the door.
Through world-class training, mentoring, and real performance opportunities, girls and young women gain more than technical skill—they develop resilience, confidence, and the knowledge that their voices and stories matter. Our program connects emerging female artists with established industry leaders, ensuring they are not only inspired but also equipped with tangible pathways into professional practice.
With your support, we can increase scholarships, expand access to training, and create more professional platforms where young women can shine. Together, we are shaping artists, leaders, and cultural changemakers—women who will carry Flamenco forward while enriching Australia’s creative future & rich diversity.
Empowering Young Women Through Flamenco
Why We Exist
Too many young women with extraordinary creative potential face barriers to pursuing a career in the arts. In Western Sydney—one of Australia’s most culturally diverse regions—girls encounter challenges of affordability, lack of representation, and limited pathways into professional artistic careers. At Compañía Pepa Molina, we believe no young woman should have to abandon her dream because she cannot access the opportunities or support she needs.
Our Solution
Our Youth Ensemble Las Flamenkas is more than a training program—it’s a pathway. We provide world-class Flamenco training, mentorship from leading female artists, and real performance opportunities on professional stages. In our programs, young women learn not only technical excellence but also resilience, confidence, and leadership skills that carry them into sustainable artistic careers.
We connect emerging artists with established practitioners, fostering intergenerational exchange and ensuring that Flamenco—recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage—thrives in Australia as a living, evolving artform.
Impact So Far

• Ensemble members have gone on to professional employment opportunities (Such as performing at Sydney Festival in 2025) and have won international awards (Concurso Festival de Jerez- Spain).
• Our programs have increased female representation in Flamenco, a field historically led by men but often inaccessible for girls from migrant and low-income families.
• Beyond the studio, participants grow into confident, empowered women who carry their culture and creativity into every part of their lives.
