Juno needs your help this End of Financial Year to support children and families recovering from homelessness and family violence. 

All the children in our programs have gone without a safe place to sleep, space to study or play, or the basic school essentials that every child deserves. Many have had to grow up too quickly, living in survival mode. 

When Lydia* and her children were connected with Juno, they were couch surfing and all sharing one bed. Her daughter Mila*, 13, had never had a space of her own.  

With Juno’s support, they secured long-term housing, set up their new home, got the kids what they needed for school, and received ongoing support to rebuild their lives. 

“Now I’m starting high school with my own space,” Mila says. “Juno helped make sure I had everything I needed for school—even a laptop.” 

With your support, more children like Mila and her six siblings can receive the essentials they need immediately after experiencing homelessness and family violence— food, toiletries and a safe place to sleep.

Your gift can also provide the vital care and support they need to heal from trauma and rebuild their lives, including essential casework support to recover, reconnect with school and community, and start to dream about the future. Your tax-deductible donation can provide: 

• $50 can provide hygiene essentials for a family in crisis
• $100 can provide groceries and other essentials for a family in emergency accommodation  
• $250 can cover one-on-one support for a child or young person rebuilding after homelessness and family violence
• $500 can provide school supplies, uniforms and technology for children starting over
• $1,000 can offer a week of safety for a family or help cover the cost of movers and storage as they settle into a new home
