About this cause

Friday, 18th September Will Bigelow is attempting something never before achieved in Australia - a record-breaking Everest Climb on the Coogee Stairs. Crazy!!!

He’ll be going up and down approximately 222 times to climb the equivalent altitude of Mt Everest. Having previously done a 48hr Challenge, he's the right man for the job. He'll be pushing his body and mind to their absolute limits in a test of endurance, resilience and grit.

He is raising essential funds for Ocean Heroes, helping deliver free surfing events that build confidence, joy and connection for neurodivergent individuals and their families.

As a devoted Bondi lifeguard, father, husband, and long-time friend of Ocean Heroes, Will has spent his life protecting and uplifting others. This time, he’s asking for your support.

Every donation, big or small, fuels life-changing programs, and helps neurodivergent folks unlock their confidence both in and out of the ocean!

Good luck, Will -  we’ll be there for a lap or two!
