To celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Australia and New Zealand, we’ve teamed up with UNICEF to give life-saving vaccines to 100,000 children across the Pacific.
The Rotary Club of Melbourne will hold these donations in trust for this Australasian wide project.
CHILDHOOD DISEASE IN THE PACIFIC
Despite improvements in immunisation, the poorest and hardest to reach children are being left behind.
Diseases such as pneumonia and diarrhoea remain the leading killers of children – with kids under five being the most vulnerable.
Poor health systems, limited Government resources, environmental challenges and children living in difficult to reach areas mean kids are missing out on essential vaccinations.
OUR GOAL
To protect 100,000 children from rotavirus, pneumococcal and cervical cancer across nine Pacific Island Countries - Nauru, Tuvalu, Samoa, Vanuatu, Tonga, Niue, Cook Islands, Kiribati and Tokelau.
And by working closely with each country's Government, a sustainable legacy, so generations of children have a chance to survive and thrive.
But we can only do this with your support. Please donate today and help give every child a future.
