Experimenta is Australia’s leading organisation dedicated to commissioning, exhibiting and touring contemporary art driven by ideas and shaped by technology.

Together, we face forwards, and like many arts organisations, rely on donations and the giving generosity of our community, to support us each year to deliver on our mission.

What this means: Currently, we are seeking support for our ongoing artistic program, alongside a number of new initiatives:

• Support our next national tour Experimenta Emergence, which features 17 artists, 5 new Australian commissions, and traverses the nation, with a focus on regional touring, from 2025 until 2027.
• Help us establish an international residency program that benefits Australian artists and makes our work visible on an international stage, in partnership with the Academy for Theatre and Digitality, Germany and Ars Electronica!
• Enable the development of specific frameworks and practical measures to make experimental, technology driven art accessible to broad audiences. By this, we mean both expanding audiences for complex, technology driven art, but importantly, not leaving anyone behind and ensuring that how we deliver our programs makes it accessible for many levels of ability and encourages participation from all members of our community, as artists and audiences.
