Globally, June is Pride Month.
Celebrated around the world, Pride Month began as a response to the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York, a protest born out of police violence and oppression. It reminds us that queer joy and queer resistance have always gone hand-in-hand.
Here in Adelaide, we also celebrate Pridevember - a month-long celebration of LGBTQIA+ arts, culture, and community held every November through Feast Festival.
LIBERATION is the theme for the 2025 Feast Festival, marking 50 years since South Australia became the first state in the country to decriminalise male homosexuality, a defining moment in the fight for equality. But liberation doesn’t stop with legislation.
This End of Financial Year, help us bring our 2025 festival vision to life with a tax-deductible donation.
We’re asking for $50 to mark 50 years of liberation (or whatever you can give - every dollar makes a difference)
To show our thanks, you will receive a limited-edition Feast Pride Badge when you donate !
Your donation can help us:
This isn’t just a festival.
It’s visibility. It’s connection. It’s survival and celebration.
And it only happens with people like you standing beside us.
Thank you for being part of it.
