Where Your Donation Will Go
Blacktown Women and Girls Health Centre
A weekly trauma-informed yoga program for women who have experienced domestic and family violence.
Blacktown Women and Girls Health Centre contributes 40% of the cost of delivering the program. We are seeking $3,800to fund the remaining cost for one year.
Windgap Foundation
Two accessible yoga classes each week for adults living with intellectual disability.
The classes are carefully adapted to support participants with movement, body awareness, sensory processing and regulation. The program has become a valued and consistent part of their weekly routine.
Windgap Foundation contributes approximately 50% of the cost of delivering the program. We are seeking $3,500 to help fund the remaining cost for one year.
Lillian Howell Project
A yoga and mindfulness program for young women aged 13 to 17 who are experiencing homelessness and living in temporary accommodation.
Delivered in partnership with the Lillian Howell Project, the program gives the young women time to rest, move and learn practical mindfulness tools in a safe and thoughtfully supported environment.
The total cost of delivering this program is $10,000. A generous donation of $6,000 has already been received, leaving $4,000 still to raise.
Our Fundraising Goal
We are seeking to raise $11,300 through the Fireside Conversation and this campaign to meet the remaining costs of delivering these three programs.
Donations will be allocated to the programs outlined above. Once one program is fully funded, further donations will be directed to the remaining programs. If all three are fully funded, any additional donations will support another current Yoga Foundation program requiring funding.
There is no charge to attend the Fireside Conversation. Guests are instead invited to make a voluntary tax-deductible donation towards the delivery of these programs.
Thank you for helping us make them possible.
