South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales have just been hit by catastrophic flooding, the likes of which have not been seen in more than a decade. Farmers across the east coast must now face the devastating aftermath of mother nature. But they can't do it alone.

Hundreds of farmers had just finished repairing their fencing after flooding earlier in the year, and are now faced with even higher floodwaters.

As the depth of this tragedy unfolds, Rural Aid’s disaster assistance team is working hard to contact farmers in flood- affected areas to offer financial assistance and mental wellbeing support.

Rural Aid's team and volunteers will be on the ground as soon as it’s safe to do so, to provide vital support to farmers in their time of need.
