As an independent charity, Footscray Community Arts invests in valued-aligned relationships with partners and donors who deeply care about the transformational role arts and culture has in communities. Your support creates waves of ongoing impact, creating space for important conversations that shape a cultural landscape which is representative of the rich and diverse stories communities have to tell.
We have a 50-year strong independent arts organisation, and the largest creative precinct in the western suburbs of Melbourne. We are dedicated to championing cultural rights by delivering impactful programs that focus on the nexus between creativity and social justice. We platform and prioritise the voices of artists from Indigenous, migrant and refugee, disability and LGBTQIA+ communities. Our public program of 1,700 events engages over 90,000 visitors annually, paying $1 million in salaries each year to 550+ creative practitioners from Melbourne’s west and beyond.
We have DGR1 and TCC status, and all donations above $2 are tax deductible. Donations can be made on a one-off, or regular basis.
