FORM Dance Projects has been successful in receiving Creative Partnerships Australia’s Plus1 support for it’s youth dance festival Sharp Short Dance. This means every dollar you donate to FORM before 31 May 2022 will be dollar matched.

By donating you will help us continue offering valuable Award prizes and development opportunities for young and emerging dance artists. For 13 years, Sharp Short Dance has supported over 2000 young dancers and choreographers under the age of 21. In 2020 and 2021 Sharp Short Dance successfully went digital and we have now seen extraordinary short films contributing to the vibrancy of the festival.  We are dedicated to forge a new hybrid path, live and digital, from Western Sydney reaching out to regions across Australia.

We believe in the creative potential of young dancers and their ability to amaze
and inspire us. Sharp Short Dance is their stage and platform. Your donation can change their lives.

With Plus1 matched funding you will provide the much needed nuts and bolts to present the festival. You will not only support the young Sharp Short Dancers but also provide payment for the mentoring artists and artworkers who make the festival possible.

The Dance Hero
$500+ donations will go towards making the festival happen.

The Dance Developer
$250 – $499 donations will go towards supporting the launch of a young artist’s career with a prized opportunity to develop a new work in FORM’s signature Dance Bites.

The Dance Booster
$100 – $249 donations will go towards providing Cash Prizes for Sharp Short Dance Winners to encourage young artists from all backgrounds to participate.

The Dance Connector
$50 – $99 donations will go towards connecting Award Winners with a leading Australian dance company for a life-changing week-long placement.

Your donation will keep our young artists inspired, experimenting, creating and most importantly, dancing.
