About this cause

Whilst medical professionals have been at the forefront of the COVID-19 outbreak ensuring our safety, the silent heroes at the Freo Street Doctor have remained open to provide much needed medical and social support to those who are homeless, battling addictions and/ or suffering from mental and health disorders.

Now, the silent heroes need your help. Donations are needed to continue providing support to those who are battling homelessness, financial hardships, drug addiction and mental disabilities. Every bit goes a long way.

About the Freo Street Doctor

Freo Street Doctor is a mobile medical health service that provides a visible, easily accessible and non-judgemental primary health care service to marginalised, disadvantaged and homeless people in our community. The service aims to care for those members of our community who for many reasons may not access mainstream general practice. The medical practice is accredited according to RACGP standards.

The service provides over 2000 consultations annually with over 20 per cent of patients visiting the Freo Street Doctor identifying as homeless and 38 per cent of patients self-identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
