Kutumb is led by Puja and Dr Ashish, alongside a small, dedicated team who work closely with local communities in Varanasi. As a hands-on, family-run organisation, Kutumb focuses on delivering education, health, and community programs in ways that are practical, locally informed, and designed to make the most of limited resources.

Through our partnership, funds are directed straight to Kutumb’s scholarship and women’s empowerment programs, supporting children to stay in school and backing women to build reliable sources of income within their communities. The work is sustained largely through individual supporters rather than large-scale government funding, allowing Kutumb to remain responsive and deeply connected to the people they serve.
