The Freemans Reach Rural Fire Brigade provides the fire fighting service in the Hawkesbury and adjacent local government areas. This volunteer brigade responds to structure fires, bush fires, motor vehicle fires, attending motor vehicle accidents where fire protection is required and the preparation and conduct of hazard reductions. All these tasks are carried out under the auspices of the Hawkesbury District Rural Fire Service.
The Brigade raises funds through donations (to its Tax Deductible "Fire and Emergency Fund") that supplement the essentials that are provided by the Rural Fire Service with extra equipment and services that greatly increase the effectiveness of the Brigade.
The Brigade remains thankful to the community for its continued support.
