Sexual assault and domestic violence are the most common crimes committed in Australia. One in four Australian women have experienced physical or sexual violence by an intimate partner, and one in five Australian women have experienced sexual violence. Sexual and domestic violence have a devastating impact on the women, men, and children who experience it – as well as on their families and their communities.

The Full Stop Foundation is an initiative of Rape & Domestic Violence Services Australia. We work to support and resource the work of Rape & Domestic Violence Services Australia, and to change the attitudes and behaviours that allow violence against women and children to occur.

We are committed to driving change to create a society where sexual assault and domestic violence are no longer tolerated, while promoting the rights of anyone who has experienced sexual assault or domestic violence to access high quality care and support in their recovery.

With your support, we are:

• Providing trauma specialist counselling to thousands of people each year,
• Advocating for change in law and policy reform, and
• Running violence prevention workshops across Australia.

It is every person’s human right to a life free of violence, and when violence occurs, it is their right to receive compassionate professional assistance in their recovery and full redress for the crime through the criminal justice system.
