Galiwin’ku Women’s Space has proudly operated and provided Yolngu-led DSFV support for the last 12 years. We all see a future where domestic violence is not the norm. Violence against women can stop. And we’re doing our part to make this future real in our community.

We must confront a stark and brutal reality: Galiwin'ku endures an alarmingly high rate of domestic violence, a crisis that shatters lives and devastates families. Galiwin'ku Women's Space is more than a shelter; it's a lifeline, a haven where women find the strength to break free from the suffocating grip of violence.

We urgently need your help to offer staff housing in Galiwin’ku, as we cannot provide consistent 24/7 support and retain staff. This drastically disrupts our crisis support and prevention services. Your donation will help us to offer staff housing and 24/7 support that our community needs.
