Bestchance wants all children, families and individuals to thrive in their community. Our services are delivered to over 6,000 children and 3,600 families. Inevitably, there are families who need extra help when times are tough; isolated parents from a cultural and linguistically diverse background, families with children who have physical or intellectual diagnoses, families facing financial hardship or children who have been effected by trauma or emergency.

By offering material or financial aid, providing early learning and education opportunities and and a range of family support programs, bestchance helps families to form the firm foundations needed for a great start to life. Every $1000 we receive pays for 6 months of in-home support for a vulnerable family, $200 pays for a parent to access a parenting program and $100 pays for a week of groceries for a struggling family.

Bestchance is a not-for-profit community organization that has been providing high-quality services to families and children in Melbourne, Australia for over 120 years. The organization's mission is to provide children with the best possible start in life, and to support families in their parenting journey.

Bestchance offers a wide range of services including early childhood education and care, family support and counselling, disability services, and training and professional development for early childhood educators. The organization operates 14 early learning centres across Melbourne, providing high-quality education and care to over 2,000 children each year. In addition, Bestchance provides family support services that include parenting programs, counselling, and support for families experiencing challenges such as domestic violence, mental health issues, and financial hardship. Bestchance's disability services support children with developmental delays and disabilities, providing therapy, early intervention, and support to families. Finally, Bestchance also offers training and professional development for early childhood educators, supporting the growth and development of the early childhood education sector in Melbourne.
