The Glen Eira unit of the Victoria State Emergency Service is made of volunteer members who live in the City of Glen Eira.
Our members are a highly trained group of volunteers that are on call 24x7, 365 days a year responding to storm, flood and other weather events, we also support other emergency services such as Victoria Police, CFA, Fire Rescue Victoria and Ambulance Victoria.
We receive some funding from the State Government but rely on the generosity of the community to help with the costs of training and maintaining essential equipment.
