About this cause

Passport 2 Employment is an eight-week program supporting 15 young people aged 15–18 from secondary schools across the Glenelg region who have a disability or face multiple barriers to employment, training and independent living.

Through practical, hands-on sessions, participants build employability, communication, presentation and life skills. They explore career and training pathways, learn about financial literacy, nutrition, fitness and healthy living, and take part in workplace tours, cooking activities and other real-world experiences.

Around 100 local students have completed Passport 2 Employment, with nearly 50 progressing to work placements and many gaining ongoing employment.

Your donation will help deliver the next Passport 2 Employment program at no cost to participants. Together, we can help local young people build confidence, independence and the skills and connections needed to take their next step beyond school.
