About this cause

Hepatitis Queensland believes all Queenslanders deserve the opportunity to enjoy good liver health, with equal access to treatment, support and accurate health information.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on a combination of government funding, partnerships and generous community donations to deliver free hepatitis and liver health services across Queensland.

Your donation helps provide life-saving education, testing, treatment and support for people affected by viral hepatitis and liver disease, while also helping us reduce stigma and improve liver health outcomes for our communities.

As a thank you for your generous support, we’ll send you a complimentary pair of liver earrings for donations of $25 or more.

What can your donation do?
$25 provides a full course of hepatitis C treatment for one person with a concession card.
$50 provides a FibroScan® liver scan to help detect liver damage.
$100 provides a one-hour hepatitis education session for a community group or organisation.
$250 provides six months of hepatitis B treatment for one person without a concession card.

Hepatitis Queensland acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded in Australia, and recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are disproportionately affected by viral hepatitis and liver disease. Hepatitis Queensland is committed to working with local Indigenous organisations to shape a health system which responds to the needs and aspirations of the community.
