On the evening of April 3 a fire destroyed the Ivanhoe Children's Community Cooperative - a 37 place kindergarten and long day care centre. Known and loved to so many in the Ivanhoe community, it has been providing care and education to children between the ages of 18 months and six years, for over thirty years.

The co-op is a warm and caring environment. It's a place where children are safe, secure, supported and valued. We have been devastated by this event and are attempting to relocate in the short term and rebuild for the long term. This is a task that we cannot do alone and will therefore be relying on the support of our wider community for donations and to join in our fundraising efforts.
