Last year at our school, two substantial pieces of outdated playground equipment were removed due to safety concerns. We are collecting funds to try to fill these large, barren playground spaces to provide our children with a variety of recreational options.
How will the funds be used?
The funds will be used to purchase some new play equipment; to engage local artists to produce sculptures for the area; and to assist the Facilities Committee (parent volunteers) in landscaping, including site preparation and indigenous planting.
