Why are we collecting funds?

The Children First Foundation’s Miracle sMiles Program facilitates life-changing surgery in Australia for children from developing countries – as complex surgery is not readily accessible in these children’s countries.

By collaborating with exceptional Australian surgeons, health professionals and hospitals, and with generous support of CFF donors, Children First Foundation helps facilitate access to world-class surgical care in Australia.

How are the funds used?

Children and their accompanying parents/guardians are cared for around Australia. 24/7 holistic care is provided by a team of skilled and dedicated CFF staff and volunteers to maximise the results of each surgery, recognising and responding to each child’s physical, emotional and cultural needs.

CFF works with Hospital and Medical preparing for surgery; maximising the impacts of the surgery; Education to prevent children from falling behind in their learning while they undergo treatment; Emotional Healing; before the child returns home.

What can you do?
