Through the Kel Willis Student fund we mentor emerging Christian leaders from many parts of the world who are committed to equipping others using the strategy Paul taught in 2 Timothy 2:2, 'And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.'

One of the emerging leader from the program is a young man who will soon return to his home country in Vietnam where there is great growth in the gospel but similar opposition to it. We are therefore preserving his anonymity.

This leader has completed his Bachelor of Ministry and is now finishing his Master of Arts in Ministry. He writes:
 

“Not only has Morling provided world-class theological education, pastoral care and financial support for me through these courses, but Morling also has been the place where I met some of my godly and passionate mentors like Kel Willis who has helped me with my spiritual and missional formations. I am forever thankful for Morling, and for Kel and his passion for Christ and all that he does to help emerging leaders like myself to be ready to take on the works of the gospel in our region of Asia Pacific. I am returning to my country of origins well-equipped and trained to raise up the next generation of leaders and Christians.”

We are already funding the training of a few key leaders from different nations, and are looking to increase this number as funds allow.
