Keratoconus Australia is the only peer support group for keratoconus in Australia and is only one of two peer support groups for keratoconus in the world.

Thanks to donors like yourself, the Association has been able to promote research into new treatments for keratoconus, like corneal crosslinking which is the only treatment that can slow or halt progression in this sight-stealing disease.
We have helped launch the Save Sight Keratoconus Registry to track outcomes of keratoconus operations, campaigned about the dangers of eye rubbing and created partnerships to improve the care of keratoconus patients. We are also participating in the training of young optometrists to ensure that keratoconus patients will continue to receive the very best care in the future.
We also advocate on behalf of patients and their families for more affordable and accessible treatments.
We assist patients find eye-carers experienced in keratoconus in their local area and provide them with information about the disease and its treatments
