Why are we collecting funds?

Kiwanis and HeartKids Australia have a long, strong and productive relationship over many years.

How are the funds used?

Primary Years program is a pilot program for bridging gaps in existing support services, providing tailored resources, activities and psychological support to enhance the overall well-being and development of these children, to support them to thrive during their primary school years.

Teen Transition program aims to support adolescents aged 12-18 with Childhood-onset Heart Disease (CoHD) as they transition from paediatric to adult healthcare services, focussing on addressing the unique health, mental health and social challenges faced by these young individuals to ensure a smooth transition and reduce the risk of dropout or adverse outcomes.

What can you do?

Donate to the Kiwanis Foundation to help HeartKids provide much needed support through their “Primary Years” and “Teen Transition” programs. 100% of your donation goes to this program.
