Why are we collecting funds?

Everyday in Australia 8 babies are born with a heart defect and each week 4 will die. 
There is no known cure or prevention. 

Kiwanis and HeartKids Australia have a long, strong and productive relationship over many years.

How are the funds used?

We provide grant funding to support HeartKids Australia 'Grants-in-Aid' medical research into Childhood Congenital Heart Disease. 

100% of your donation goes to this program. 

Kiwanis Foundation has so far received and contributed $500,000 to this ongoing ‘Grants-in-Aid’ program. This and support from other HeartKids Australia partners, has enabled development and growth of the program. 

What can you do?

Donate to the Foundation for the 'Grants-in-Aid' program to assist fund world-class research into the causes, treatment and management of Childhood Heart Disease.
