Laneway Lunches supports around 60 Darebin residents every Friday to enjoy a nutritious meal, connect socially, and take home extra food or essential grocery items when needed.

This long-running and much-loved program has evolved over time to respond to community need. During 2020–21, Bridge Darebin redirected its efforts toward emergency food relief throughout the pandemic — work that continues today in different forms.

Laneway Lunches resumed in 2022 and remains a core part of Bridge Darebin’s community wellbeing work in 2026. Ongoing support helps us sustain the program week-to-week and strengthen it through community connection, volunteer involvement, and welcoming, dignified shared meals.

We need your help to ensure Laneway Lunches can continue throughout the year.
Just $5 provides a lunch for a local, and every contribution makes a difference. Donations are tax-deductible, and you can choose how you’d like to give.
