At Lifeline Gippsland, our vision is of an Australia free of suicide. It is hope that we offer to people in their darkest moments, along with connection and comfort, so that a person can see that no matter how dark the moment, there is always a new day ahead.

Our crisis support service is only made possible by people like you. You can be the reason we can be there for someone at 4am. You can help us save lives. 

We receive less than 30 per cent of the funds needed to provide this service, and your support will help to ensure we can continue to respond to people in need.

How will the funds be used?

Every call to Lifeline costs $39 to answer. All funds raised will go directly to the cost of delivering Lifeline's 24-hour telephone crisis service, 13 11 14. 

Expenses include recruitment of volunteers, intensive training of our dedicated Crisis Supporters, remote support provided to every Crisis Supporter throughout every shift, lease and overheads for three phone rooms located across the region, ongoing professional development and onsite debriefing and IT and technology costs.
