Lifeline Northern Beaches is responding to the largest societal challenge we have seen in decades.
We are, as always, supporting people in crisis and at risk of suicide. Our services have never been so important as we support people overwhelmed by this crisis. We know that anxiety, loneliness, and sadly suicide will rise through this crisis.
The NSW Government has declared Lifeline as an essential service, which means that whatever type of lockdown applies, our staff and volunteers are able to continue to support the community by taking calls and answering texts, 24/7. We are committed to being there for the duration of this crisis.
