Living with and caring for someone with a life-threatening illness is challenging and requires the specialist palliative care support Little Haven offers without charge to clients in the Gympie and surrounding region. 

Your donation will be put to direct use in our community - providing 24 hour on call nursing care and support to the terminally ill and their family, specialised equipment loan, complementary therapies, social worker and bereavement support at no cost to the patient. 

This support provided to 300+ palliative patients each year and their families allows the dignity, care, comfort and confidence to remain in the place of their choosing.

Little Haven is there 24/7, 7days a week, 365 days a year. 

Why are we collecting funds?

Everyone has the right to dignified, quality, end of life care, in the environment of their choice. 

As we move into our 45th year of continually improving our support and care of the dying, we do so with an expanded vision for our future. Ready for the next phase in our history, continuing our deep community connection in "caring for our own", directing donations to meet the continual growth (9% pa)  in referrals to our service, maintaining and expanding our loan equipment and a future that includes a inpatient hospice facility for those unable to be cared for at home.

How will the funds be used?

100 % of funds raised go directly to providing hands-on nursing care and specialist equipment needed for this care to people in the Gympie and Cooloola region.
