Living the Dream Foundation works Towards Healthy Communities - a community where the most vulnerable at-risk children and young people are not left behind, have a voice and have access to services that genuinely provide a pathway for a better quality of life. 

The services of the Living the Dream Foundation create engagement opportunities for the most vulnerable at-risk children and young people to have access to an environment where they can feel welcome, safe and empowered through our meaningful Wellbeing, Mentoring and Member Care programs during times of hardships and uncertainty. 

 

Who Benefits from Our Services

  • Families on low income with children aged 8+ and teens under 18. 
  • Young women and girls experiencing psychological distress. 
  • Young men and boys experiencing psychological distress. 
  • Children and young people caught up in the Youth Justice system.
  • Young people under the age of 25 experiencing loneliness, poverty and homelessness. 
  • Disengaged children and young people from education, training and employment. 
  • Young people with poor financial literacy and experiencing financial distress. 

 

What We Do

Living the Dream Foundation is committed to equipping and empowering the most vulnerable at-risk children and young people by Turning Loss into Purpose, creating a positive change in their lives and becoming vibrant members of our society. 

  • Wellbeing - weekly access to coaching to improve physical health and learn new routines and habits.
  • Mentoring - weekly access to mentoring to improve mental health, learn new skills, identify new interests and find purpose. 
  • Member Care - consultations to identify practical counselling pathways, additional supports and networks for positive engagement and connectedness to required services.
