Lord Somers Camp and Power House is a diverse volunteer-led community organisation with a focus on young people, leadership and active participation. We partner with others to develop and deliver challenging, experienced based programmes which engage with people of all ages.

Our Vision is of a stronger, more inclusive society created through service to others. We work to ensure all our programs and activities are based on our fundamental values of Fun, Friendship, Trust, Care and Acceptance.

We have identified a number of areas which would benefit from your additional support. These areas include; the Polish program - supporting young people to become work ready while opening greater opportunities to attract students to Big Camp, Volunteers Support Fund - a newly established fund to help volunteers attend camp as staff, a Building Project - to protect canteen visitors from the elements, and a General Donation - to support the strategic direction of our organisation.

How will the funds be used?

• Polish program - help secondary students to become work ready and open opportunities to attract more young people to Big Camp
• Volunteers Support Fund - to make it easier to source financial assistance for volunteers wanting to attend camp, and it easier for people to support others to volunteer
• Building Project - a shelter for the canteen, to protect visitors to the canteen from the elements
• General donation - a donation to support the strategic direction of LSC&PH
