We are an international group of religious women in the Catholic Church who strive to live the charism of our Foundress, St Jeanne Jugan. At St. Joseph's Home in Northcote, we care for the life, dignity and uniqueness of the elderly most in need. Our vision is to use all modern means to improve care for the elderly and to promote their role in society. We give priority to the poorest elderly of every race and religion and, in exceptional circumstances, a person experiencing other forms of poverty.
Pope Francis tells us that "we need a society which measures its success on how the weak are cared for".
