Wildlife in the Greater Logan and Scenic Rim Council area's is under increasing pressure.
Habitat loss from development, rising traffic volumes, urban expansion, and interactions with domestic animals mean more injured, orphaned and sick native animals than ever before.
Every single day, local wildlife carers and rescuers respond to animals in crisis — but accessing urgent veterinary care is not always easy.
There are currently three major wildlife hospitals in South East Queensland:
These hospitals collectively treat hundreds of animals per day. While their work is extraordinary, they are often at capacity — and they are not located within the Logan/Scenic Rim region.
For wildlife rescuers and carers in these areas, transporting animals long distances can delay urgent treatment and place additional stress on already vulnerable wildlife.

A Major Step Forward: Our Logan Wildlife Ambulance 🚑
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Moneybags Property Group, Logan Wildlife Association has been gifted a dedicated Wildlife Ambulance.
This vehicle is already helping us:

Fuel, insurance, servicing, medical transport equipment, and operational costs all add up. Without community support, the ambulance cannot operate at full capacity.

Our long-term mission is to establish a dedicated Wildlife Hospital in the greater Logan/Scenic Rim area — a facility that will:
A local wildlife hospital will dramatically improve outcomes for wildlife by ensuring they receive faster, more accessible care when every minute matters.
