MACS provide an overnight drop-in service which operates from 6pm–6am and is offered 365 days a year, including all public holidays. This is a flexible and responsive service for those requiring assistance outside the regular hours of other support.
Attendants drive to client’s home at pre-arranged negotiated times or at unscheduled times when people require the occasional unplanned personal care support.
MACS have 7 vehicles to provide this essential service. We need to fund regular maintenance on the vehicles to ensure the delivery of this service. We don’t receive any grant income to assist with this expense so we are seeking community support to ensure this service stays on the road.
