Malvern Special Needs Playgroup

Malvern Special Needs Playgroup

Relying on various grants and generous donations such as yours to operate, the playgroup employs a coordinator, physiotherapist, kindergarten teacher, speech pathologist, and occupational therapist who, with the assistance of volunteers, provide professional support and advice.

Our special needs playgroup improves children's well-being, development and safety and enhances family function through supportive and regular respite care. Our multi-disciplinary professionals liaise with service/therapy providers to deliver optimal individualised early intervention for each child through play. Activities are supervised by staff and volunteer carers in a nurturing environment.

Families benefit from regular respite and contact with health professionals, parental networking opportunities and guest speaker meetings. These facilitate resilience and enhance opportunities for their families to thrive.
