At Music in Exile, we have been tirelessly working towards creating a vibrant and diverse contemporary Australian music industry that truly reflects the voices of our communities. As a grassroots non-profit organization, our core focus is on championing artists from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who bring unique perspectives and stories to the forefront.

The impact we've made so far includes:

• paying $585,960 directly into artists' pockets for recording and touring activity 
• creating over seventy original sound recordings across 20 albums & EP’s
• selling approximately 6,000 units of vinyl and 2,000 units of merchandise with profits going to artists
• facilitating tours for artists to every state and territory in Australia including appearances at WOMADelaide, Dark Mofo, Sydney Festival, Perth Festival and more
