Our legacy has seen us nurturing discerning citizens and upcoming writers, empowering communities of different backgrounds and celebrating storytelling in its many forms. 

This year, our sustainability is impacted by a significant loss in revenues from the cancellation of the live festival. MWF has existed as Australia's boldest literary festival due to the kindness and generosity of our community. In this special time, we call upon your generosity to keep us going strong and far.
