NAFA has proudly supported Sungava Home for young women with an intellectual disability since 2019. The Home is located at the base of Swayambhunath in Kathmandu and current services include day care, respite and vocational and daily skills training.
In late 2023, NAFA partnered with a consortium of Canadian Nepalese charities to raise funds to purchase an e-van. Whilst electric vehicles benefit from no petrol or diesel costs, there is still the driver salary, driver training, insurance, routine maintenance and other operating expenses to be funded.
