About this cause
Native Animal Rescue is a native wildlife rescue and rehabilitation service which supports over 4000 native birds, mammals and reptiles in WA each year. We support sick, injured, orphaned and displaced native wildlife in Western Australia. We recieve wildlife that has been hit by car, cat/dog/bird attack, storm wreaked, or habitate loss to mention a few. Our aim is to give all wildlife a second opportunity after rehabilitation and be released back to their home range. We have a large  Black Cockatoo enclosure where sick, injured and orphaned endangered black cockatoos spend time recovering for release back into the wild. We support our willdife after fire devastates their home and support them until the environment can once again support them.

Native Animal Rescue has some 140 volunteer staff who ensure its centre opens every day of the year to care for our native animals. Native Animal rescue is a non-government, not-for-profit voluntary organisation. Its headquarters is in Malaga WA on a 15 hectare flora reserve which has been vested to Native Animal Rescue by the WA Government.
