This cause aims to provide support to 40 children from lower socioeconomic background attending the  Asha Vidhyashram School in Katmandu, Nepal. The program provides a stable learning environment for children of migrant laborers who would otherwise be out of school- engaged in some type of employment to help with the family finances. The school maintains a 95% attendance rate by addressing the root causes of school dropout—hunger and poor health. 
 
The main support includes:

1. Daily meals to alleviate hunger and malnourishment
2. Provision of hygiene kits to promote health including oral hygiene
3. Providing emergency funds for housing repairs to the students' families as need arises to provide a safer/healthier home environment

Many families migrate to Kathmandu from remote villages but can only find low-paying work as laborers or Masons. Because they do not earn enough, these families are not able to afford basic necessities like food, medicine, or a safe place to live. Education becomes unaffordable leading to children dropping out of the school system, leading to higher rates of illiteracy which keeps families in the cycle of poverty.
